How did it all start?

Hello, my name is Georgie, the founder of Juniper & Me.

My passion for all things unique and beautiful is what drives me, and believe it or not, it all started with my sewing and embroidering a rag doll.....

After 20 years of working in the fashion industry, with some of the world's leading, luxury brands and talent, I decided to take a big leap by leaving a successful career and do something completely different, yet something that has always been at the heart of my enjoyment and that is combining my love of interior design and being creative.

I have always had a passion for tablescaping, flowers and  having a styled theme planned for most of our family dining events and celebrations.

​

So after a summer, with an unbearable heat wave here in rural Kent, I rediscovered my sewing machine, bought a ton of materials and threads and started crafting.

​

One of the items that I made during that period was a personalised ragdoll that featured hand embroidery, from that an idea was sparked and Juniper & Me was soon born.

​

Alongside sewing and crafting , I have held a lifelong love of reading books, especially a good historical romance. Many years ago my grandmother purchased me my first and forever favourite, a book called 'The Juniper Bush' by Audrey Howard.  

So that is where the 'Juniper' comes from in our story.

The 'Me' in the story is you! Who we want to take on a journey with us, helping you design and create a dream tablescape setting for a memorable event or occasion.
